Mirona Radu is an accomplished film promoter with a rich history of over 15 years in the film industry, specializing in film production and distribution, and actively participating in international film festivals.

With a background in visual studies and a proven track record in developing and executing intercultural projects, Mirona’s passion for the film world led her to establish the Film O’Clock International Festival in 2021. This remarkable festival brings together seven countries across two continents through simultaneous screenings, creating a unique and immersive cinematic experience.

Mirona’s talent and expertise have been recognized on multiple fronts. In 2022, she was appointed as the Artistic Director for the ABIFF – Animation Bucharest International Festival. From 2023 onwards, she took over as the Artistic Director for the Palestinian Film Festival in Bucharest, further solidifying her commitment to promoting diverse and impactful cinema.

In 2023, Mirona founded and produced “Her Future, Her Story”, a mentoring program dedicated to empowering women in filmmaking. Her dedication to supporting and nurturing talent in the industry is evident through this initiative.

Her pursuit of excellence in the film domain is evident in her diverse educational background. She successfully completed the UNIC Women’s Cinema Leadership international mentoring program, attended the esteemed Francisc Mraz School of Photopoetry, and studied Film Directing. Mirona holds a Master’s Degree in Film Production from Romania and another Master’s Degree in Creative Management in New Media from the prestigious Kieslowski Film School in Poland. Additionally, she has participated in several professional programs such as NEXT WAVE at DFFB Berlin Academy Film, Maia Workshops, CICAE Training, and over 10 artistic residencies across various countries.

Beyond her contributions to filmmaking, Mirona is also an accomplished photographer, having exhibited her work in solo and group exhibitions across numerous cities, including Turin (Italy), Brussels (Belgium), Paris (France), Lisbon (Portugal), Odessa (Ukraine), Istanbul (Turkey), Chisinau (Moldova), Bucharest, and Cluj-Napoca (Romania), as well as Moscow and Kolomna (Russia).
