Bogdan decided to give a second life to the projector and donated the exhibit to the museum. According to the donor’s story, the owner of the AMPRO film projector is his great-grandfather. He was an employee of a cinema and after his retirement he collected rare items. In the conversation Bogdan said that his great-grandfather, according to the stories of his relatives, preferred watching silent films and in his spare time played the piano, sometimes he was an accompanist, combining his music together with films.

Bogdan’s grand-father seems to have spent numerous occasions of sharing the truly authentic experience of seeing a silent film, being accompanied by piano rhythm.
